We offer a day of learning and fun for schools to enjoy at both Rookery Waters and Rookery Farm. Children can learn about the four main areas of our farm: arable farming, livestock, fishing and conservation.
If you are interested in inquiring or booking a school visit please read the attached document and contact Clair German.
Around Rookery Farm and the lakes there are many bridleways and public footpaths to enjoy. We welcome walkers and dogs (although not around the lakes) to explore these paths through hedgerows and over fields. Ramblers are welcome to stop off at Rookery Café for a light refreshment or a full English breakfast.
Rookery Waters is abundant with birdlife due to our efforts to create many habitats for them; a two hectare reed bed, clusters of woodland and owl boxes, and so bird watchers are encouraged to come and visit us. At the last count 42 species of bird have been identified around Rookery Waters such as: Kestrels, Barn Owls, Reed Warblers and Turtle Doves.
The Rookery Café is available for hire to provide both the space and food.
