All pitches are located on the West side of Rook Lake. Each pitch differs slightly due to its position around the lake. Within the CL site ‘Oak’ is the most sheltered pitch followed by Ash, Elm, Alder and Willow. Willow is the least sheltered pitch but offers fabulous views over our wetland conservation area, great for bird watchers. Our two additional grass pitches, Birch and Beech are located just outside the CL site, also overlooking the wetland conservation area.
The site has free WiFi for guests to use. There are miles of bridle and footpaths for walking and cycling. Next to the site is a conservation reed bed wetland area, where many wetlands birds can be spotted such as Bitterns, Oyster Catchers and Egyptian Geese.
There are no shower or laundry facilities on the site, please use your own facilities. A short walk away are toilets in the Café, as well as outside toilets situated in the car park that guests are welcome to use.
