Summer festival 2022

Wow what a festival!!! Each year the festival gets better and better with some incredible fishing from all 3 lakes despite the silly temperatures it’s fished it nuts offf!!!

Mugging was the score on most of the lakes during the early stages of the match mid match the fish started to feed with shallow tactics or maggots down the edges producing the match winning bags

Over the 3 days of fishing the average weights per angler

magpie was over 224lb

Raven over 146lb

Jay over 199lb

The festival saw two NEW lake records set with the Jay record going twice over the 3 days

Super Jimmy Brooks smashed the previous record of 335lb and put 410.09lb on to the scales which then was beaten by Suffolk’s finest Jack Damant with 440.12lb

The Raven lake record has stood for 3/4 years at 290lb but once again Jimmy Brooks put in master class once again for 322.06lb

The Overall winner was Daiwa Tackle & Bates Josh Pace who has always been in and around the mix for this festival!

The perfect 3 points score and a slightly superior weight meant that he was crowned the 2022
