After a very chilly start, with a heavy ground frost, 21 anglers fished this weeks Over 60’s Open on Magpie lake. As the day progressed, the temperatures rose to the dizzy heights of 10 degree in the sun but for those in the shade of the trees, it was a very cold days work. For those who enjoyed the majority of the warmer sunshine, there were plenty of bites to be found.
