Our modern open-plan lodges are situated overlooking Rook Lake, with beautiful views of the Cambridgeshire countryside beyond. Relax outside on the patio area, soaking up the sun or watching the sun set in this peaceful, rural location surrounded by public bridal ways and footpaths. For anglers enjoy your own exclusive fishing platform right in front of your lodge, fish our well established specimen lake with carp reaching up to 30lbs, tench, bream and silvers, all included in your stay. All four lodges are identical to one another and are situated South West facing over Rook Lake.

Touring Caravan Site

The 5 pitch CL site is situated in an enclosed and peaceful location, overlooking Rook Lake with stunning views of the Cambridgeshire countryside behind. Each certified location touring pitch has a hard, level gravel standing with large grass area, with ample room for a car and awning. There is a pedestal electric hook-up with light and fresh water supply. Neighboring the CL are two additional grass pitches, Birch and Beech, also overlooking Rook Lake.

Prices:  Hard gravel standing CL Site £24 a night    Grass Pitch £22 a night

 

Both prices are fixed, no extra charges for awnings, dogs etc. Fishing on the platform in front of your pitch is not included in the price of your pitch. Day tickets for fishing can be purchased from our onsite tackle shop upon arrival,  £8 Adult  £6 Concessions.

Fishing

The fishery is one of the best in the area. Every Lodge and Caravan pitch has its own private fishing platform in front. There are five more lakes to choose from, check which lakes are available that day from the staff in the tackle shop.

 

Fishing Tackle Shop; Tackle & Bates

The shop has an extensive selection of everything you need, including all baits, big name fishing tackle, equipment and clothing. It is here where you must purchase your day ticket before you fish. Alex Bates the manager will be happy to advise you.

 

Café

A relaxed atmosphere café serves full English Breakfasts and other fresh cooked foods until 11am, along with snacks, ice creams, drinks and alcoholic beverages throughout day.

 

Bridleways and Footpaths

The 230 acre farm is surrounded by public bridleways and footpaths for

you to enjoy. Explore the Fenland and Cambridgeshire countryside, stopping at some local pubs on the way.

 

Toilets & grey waste

There are separate ladies, Gents and disabled toilets in the café and outside in the carpark, where there is also a grey waste emptying point.
